How Do You Clean The Cleaning Head?

Grill Rescue was built to last. But that doesn't mean it won't get a little dirty.

Okay, REALLY DIRTY!

In order for your grill to become clean, Grill Rescue needs to get dirty. You've probably already noticed that it gets pretty dirty from it's first use. This means it's working.

Here are some ways you can wash your Grill Rescue Cleaning Head:

• Dishwasher - The easiest way to wash your cleaning is to simply throw it in the dishwasher. Don't worry about the hot water. It didn't melt on your flaming hot grill, it won't melt in the dishwasher. If you're worried about the grease in your dishwasher, rinse it off first, or use another method below.

• Hose - The firefighters favorite. Spray it with a garden hose and watch the greasy mess wash away. You can add some soap if you'd like to be extra clean. Just rinse it off so you're not eating soap.

• Hand Wash - If you don't have a washboard or rock hard abs, it's best to use an indoor or outdoor sink for this one. Just add some soap and wash with water as you would any other garment.

• Lick It - If you believe built up grime should be considered flavor, you probably don't clean your grill in the first place. If you do, we didn't want to leave you out. Just lick your Cleaning Head clean like a dog. You'll enjoy the greasy char flavor that has been sitting on your grill. [WARNING: This method is NOT RECOMMENDED]

If you noticed after any of these methods the Cleaning Head doesn't look 100% new. That's okay. It will never look new and shiny again. Grill grease is super tough to wash out of any material. Grill Rescue is no exception. Should you want a new Cleaning Head, you may always purchase replacements here: GrillRescue.com

Please don't use any harmful chemicals on Grill Rescue that you wouldn't want getting on your food. We only recommend soap and water. Please rinse thoroughly if using soap. You probably don't want to eat that either..

How Do You Remove The Cleaning Head?

You can remove the cleaning head by firmly pressing on the locking clips on the side of the cleaning head, sometimes it is easier to just press in on one of the locking clips with your thumb while using your other hand and fingers as support. It should pop right off!

How Often Should I Clean Grill Rescue?

That is really up to you! Some customers clean after every use, after 5-10 uses, or never clean at all. It's 100% your call. Don't be alarmed if it gets dirty, that's just because your grill is clean!

What Is The Grill Rescue Warranty?

Grill Rescue doesn't come with a warranty. If you'd like to purchase one, click the button below.

How Long Do Cleaning Heads Last?

Typically, Grill Rescue Cleaning Heads last between 25-100 uses. It is dependent on the the type of gunk/buildup you are cleaning. Also, how it is stored and how it is maintained also play a factor. We have had customers report they've gotten over 600 cleans before it needed to be replaced!

My cleaning head is not yellow anymore even after I cleaned it. Why?

Due to high heat and unforgiving grease, our Cleaning Head may discolor. Rest assured, the safety and ability to clean will not be affected. Grease is super tough and will stain almost any material. Grill Rescue will work just as good stained as it does brand new.
